From the Main Customers (or Students) Screen

Click on the Pass Scanner icon

Multi-Class Batch Entry screen

If for some reason, you don't see this screen, but see one of the other scanner screens (Full or Simple Scanner), then click the Scanner Settings at the bottom of the screen.

Scanner Settings tab, Scanner View Mode option.

Select "Multi-Class" from the popup menu.

Now Click on the 'Scanner' button to return you to the Multi-Class Batch Entry.

1) Pick a date. Click on the small calendar icon to reveal a calendar picker to choose a date. Once a date is selected, all available classes should display in the first portal list.

2) Select a Session portal will display all Classes occurring on this day of the week. Click on one to select it

3) The selected Class from 2) will display in the portal to the right, which displays the current active class

4) Search by Person's Name. This field employs 'type-ahead' to filter the list below it as you type.

5) Filtered List. When the field is blank, all records are displayed, when something is typed, only matching records are displayed.

6) Select a Pass. Once you click on a name in 5), you should see the passes available for this person.

Search for a Person

Type a name in the Search field box to narrow the list of people in the portal below. Click on the person to display their passes in the portal below.

As you type letters, the portal list grows shorter and shows less names, until it is down to displaying just the names that match exactly. Clearing the field, clears the search criteria and removes the filters from the list below, so you should see all Customers in the person portal.

Click on the name once you are satisfied this is the correct person.

Click on a Pass to add this person to the selected Class

Clicking on a name should display any passes that the person has and the number of sessions or time remaining on the pass as well as the bar code.

Setup - PassTracker - Manual or Automatic - Bar Codes must be entered

Note: to use the Batch Recording of Classes feature, each Customer's pass must be assigned a bar code number. To have these assigned automatically, turn on the 'Auto', or if you are using the Manual approach, be sure to enter the bar code in the appropriate field when making the sale.

Pass Tested

When you click on a Pass, the system tests to see if this pass should be allowed to be charged. If the pass has expired, or if the sessions are used up, you will see an error message here and the person will not be entered into the class.

To shorten or lengthen the delay on this message, go to Scanner Settings tab and change the Message Delay in seconds.

Successful addition to the class

If the pass is valid, you should see the person's name and pass number show up in the Class list to the right of the screen. The last addition will be in the top, based on the time of entry.

To view the list by Customer name (First Name Sort), click the tab that reads 'Name'. Return to the Time sort by clicking on the 'Time' Tab.

Deleting mistakes

If you hover the small red trash can in the corner of the recorded sessions, you will see a message that reads:

"Click to delete this session recording.

This will only remove the session recording and will reduce the number of sessions used on the customer's pass.

If you hold down the option key, you can delete without seeing a warning message."

Hide the Scanner

To hide the window for the Scanner and return to selling passes or adding Customers, click the 'Hide' button at the bottom of the screen.
