Quick sale. No link to customer.
Click on the New Cash Sale button at the top of the screen, on either the Customers layout or the Sales layout.
The result of either button is to create a new Cash Sale. Unlike a regular Sale (created with the New Sale button) there is no corresponding Customer record. The identifier for a Cash sale is the word 'Cash' and the current date in First Name field.
Because a Pass is usually associated with a Customer record, the system will warn against attempting to tie a pass to a Cash Sale record. There is the possibility to override this warning, by clicking "Do It", but the default response is to Cancel this.
The PassTracker system reserves the term "Pass" or "Passes" for any type of pass with a bar code and recurring activity associated with it. To create a Pass type that is just for a one-day or one-time event, where no bar coded pass will be issued, use the term "Ticket" or other similar words.
From either the Customers or Sales layout, there is a button that does a search on Today's Cash Sales.
If there is just one Cash Sale for the current date, the report will return you to the main Sales Detail layout. If there are more than one Cash Sales on the current date, the script goes to the Sales List View. From here, clicking on the appropriate sale, will allow you to edit that record.
Clicking on a record in the Sales List will bring you to the Sales Detail layout.
