PassTracker - How to Setup a PC to use an F-Key when a Bar Code is Scanned

If you plan to run PassTracker on a single PC computer, this is how to set up an FKey to run the search script in the Scanner.fp7 database.

Scan the appropriate Programming Code

1. Scan this code if you are using the Metrologic Voyager bar code scanner.

Set up your F-Key on F7 to run this VB Script application

2. Unzip f7.vbs.zip to your c:\
3. Unzip Fkeys.exe.zip and install it
4. Run Fkeys and configure it
Set “Command” and “Parameters” for F7
Command = “c:\winnt\system32\cscript” if you are running on windows 2000
“c:\windows\system32\cscript” if you are running on windows XP
Parameters is the place you put f7.vbs, should be c:\f7.vbs
